Seriously though, after purchasing all of the POWYS Space 1999 book, I missed out on Odysseus wept. Do you have any idea if it will be reprinted or where I can get my hands on a copy? I’ve already checked everywhere I know to look, such as eBay and Amazon

Still hoping to get some news for new printings. In the meantime, I’m debating doing a series of readings on zoom…anybody out there interested? Would be two hour long sessions for a few weeks.
I own all of the other POWYS Space 1999 novels that you’ve written, but I’m waiting to get the last one and binge read them all in order, so I’m afraid that, although a reading by the actual author would be fantastic, there may be some spoilers that would ruin the other novels for me.

If we do it (discussions happening this week actually among the Powys cabal), we’ll likely do something with Amazon’s print on demand service — which makes ebooks a certainty.

Still in the writing stage, but just spent an hour working on it tonight. I found all of my old notes from Children of the Gods — that section of the book should be finished relatively soon. I’ve done bits and pieces of Final Revolution already, but betting the Odysseus Wept section will be a monster.
On a more interesting note, you should probably follow Capt. Phil Merkel and his radio show on WUSB FM. Sometime in December 2023 we’re planning on offering up a goodie specifically for Space:1999 fans. Here’s a hint — somebody stuck in an asteroid has a flashback…
So what’s the good word? Any progress on these at all? I wonder why Powys didn’t renew the contract.
